• I use this plugin on a client site, and they’ve had someone contact them to say their CV is visible on the front page of Google, by just searching their name.

This is a serious breach of data protection, and I need to know how to stop any more CV’s and personal data from being available publicly.

I’ve created a robots.txt file to disallow anything in /wp-content/uploads/ and requested the CV in question be removed from search results and cache via Google’s webmaster tools. Is there anything else I can do? What about future CV submissions?

I’m having the same problem – any way to resolve this?

I’m having the same issue, I’m currently using this plugin for a project so I’ll try and a fix. If all goes well in stopping cvs being public, then I’ll post the code.

good to know how you have done this

    kind regards

you can also drop an index.php in the folder so the directory is not browsable.

Sorry, not forgot just been sidetracked into another project. I’m part way through and will post.

Hi, has this been resolved? Is there no input from the developer? I see this problem first surfaced 5 month ago… I would need to know if our clients data is safe and invisible to the public before I install this Plugin. Any help would be appreciated, thanks Groggo
