Note: I am learning wordpress as I go. I’m definitely not expereinced at this.

I have Customizr, and like it so far. I would like to use an image I have uploaded to my media library for my header. How do I go about doing this? I can’t seem to make it work through the “customize it” menu. I don’t even know how to deal with CSS if that’s what I need to do, but I can learn. Any tips for doing this are greatly appreciated. Putting it in simple terms is helpful for me!

Hi annewbrough, internet is the Great Place of Learning. Everything you want to learn, you will see the resource.

As you are a Beginner, you should google some online FREE tutorial as well as on YouTube to learn the Basic of HTML and CSS. This will ease your life a lot and you will able to understand the basic things.

Then you also can learn some basic on how WordpRress works from various online Tutorials and also from YouTube.

Ant change you want to make any theme, you must create a Child Theme. Please read the whole codex very carefully and follow accordingly.

By header, I presume you mean slider? (You can have a static header with a single image in the slider too).
