Customizing wp_list_page widget?

    I’ve just upgrade 2.0x to 2.2 and my widget that displays pages now displays them all, where before I had the “depth=1” statement working, which had been edited from plugins\widgets\widgets.php. Now that support for widgets is in the core, I can’t figure out how to customize this widget so as to only display pages to a depth of 1, as the widgets.php under wp-admin seems to be very different.

    Does anyone know how to customize the display of pages using WP’s widgets?
