I have been wanting to customize where i shall upload my photos to, and have been searching for the solution, but could found none for it.
So i assume that this is impossible to do with wordpress, but still i would like to see if anyone has the solution.

By default, photos are uploaded to wp-contents/upload/YY/MM
Yeah, i know i can change the default under Settings-Miscellaneous.
That’s not i want to do.
I want my photos to be uploaded to any directories which i specify.
    Let’s say
    image for Post1 to wp-contents/upload/post1
    image for Post2 to wp-contents/upload/post2

I am searching for any plugins which can allow me to decide where i want to upload my photos each time i uploading.

Below are a few solutions that i’ve tried.

    (1) Using custom-upload-dir
This was simply good because it could upload images to directories with post title.
Let’s say my post is entitled “holiday”, so the images will be uploaded to wp-contents/upload/holiday
This is what i wanted but unfortunately, I’m not making a homepage with english, so the wordings doesn’t appear correctly..

    (2) Try to mkdir my own directory
I tried to manually mkdir my own directory under wp-contents/uploads/
    I have dir1/ , dir2/ , etc.
And i used my ftp servers to upload my photos to those directories.
However when i want to write a new post, and i click on “Image” icon, i could not see any photos there, i mean i could not see the directory i create, only the default wp-contents/uploads, so i could not choose the photos i’ve uploaded just now.

Any solution to what i’m trying to do?
I’m just trying to organize photos, as default YY/MM is really hard to manage, and i don’t want bunch of photos under uploads/ either.

    Thank you

    another new feedback

Relocate Upload enables me to upload pictures to my desired directory,
but by default, it’s uploaded to default directory,
which means i have to edit one by one, ie changing the uploaded directory information one by one later on.

Plus, it’s still hard to search for a photos uploaded in certain directory from media library itself.

wordpress has not been very good at media managing
