[resolved] Customizing Kubrick's sidebar in 2.8.3 (10 posts)

    Hi everyone,

    I'm new to wordpress and I'm trying to customize my own version of Kubrick's default theme. I have some problems with the sidebar. I wont to delete the small grey arrows at the left of every Entry, Category, etc and I want the items on every list to be aligned with the name of its list. In example 'category1', 'category2' and 'category3' starts at the same point in X axys than 'CATEGORIES'.

    Any help on it? I've been searching for this on google but all responses are for older versions of Kubrick whose sidebar.php differs from the new one in 2.8.3

    I hope this two images could help you to understand what I want to do:

    Thanks everyone for your support

    It doesn't work because in the 2.8.3 version of Kubrick it doesn't appear any » on sidebar.php.
    In fact, this is all what appears on it:

    <?php
    /**
     * @package WordPress
     * @subpackage Default_Theme
     */
    ?>
    	<div id="sidebar" role="complementary">
    		<ul>
    			<?php /* Widgetized sidebar, if you have the plugin installed. */
    					if ( !function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') || !dynamic_sidebar() ) : ?>
    			<li>
    				<?php get_search_form(); ?>
    			</li>

    			<!-- Author information is disabled per default. Uncomment and fill in your details if you want to use it.
    			<li><h2>Author</h2>
    			<p>A little something about you, the author. Nothing lengthy, just an overview.</p>
    			</li>
    			-->

    			<?php if ( is_404() || is_category() || is_day() || is_month() ||
    						is_year() || is_search() || is_paged() ) {
    			?> <li>

    			<?php /* If this is a 404 page */ if (is_404()) { ?>
    			<?php /* If this is a category archive */ } elseif (is_category()) { ?>
    			<p>You are currently browsing the archives for the <?php single_cat_title(''); ?> category.</p>

    Comment out the line

    .entry ul li:before, #sidebar ul ul li:before {
    content: "0BB 020";
    }

    to get rid of the arrows.

    As you can see, there are slight differences from the original code.

    OK, Zgani.
    I didn't understood what you told me.
    I've just comment this line and now the arrows have dissapeared.
    How can I get rid of the tabulation of the elements?

    Thanks for your rapid answers, guys :)

    All right,

    I finally discovered how to get rid of the tabulation. It was as simple as changing this line:

    #sidebar ul ul, #sidebar ul ol {
    	margin: 5px 0 0 0px;
    	}

    I turned the last value from 10px to 0px to delete the tabulation.
    Zgani gave me the clue :)

    Thanks to everybody who has helped me
