   Hi,
   I’m trying to figure out how to install and customize a new theme and get all the content in place while still having a good looking website up for the public. Is the only way to do that to put up a html version while working in the background? There’s no way I can see to keep the current Word Press theme live at the same time as customizing a new theme.

   How do you deal with this issue?

   Try in your index.php using something like...

   <?php
   if ( is_user_logged_in() ) {
       echo 'For you';
   } else {
       echo 'Welcome, visitor!';
   }
   ?>
