You will probably need to start customising your theme’s CSS – possibly via a child theme or a custom CSS plugin.
I did it by creating a child theme, copying the styles from one of the built-in color options into my child theme’s stylesheet, and changing the colors there. Then you just need to leave the color scheme choice on “default.”
It would be cool if the customizer option were filterable.
If you have the Jetpack plugin, you can use the included Custom CSS Editor to make CSS changes to your theme (allowing you to modify the colors as you wish).
I’m sure I’m asking a completely remedial question as I am not very familiar with editing terms. I have paid for the custom upgrade for colors and fonts but would like to change the background color for the box where the text resides (which is currently white).
my blog is http://www.twoinnocents.wordpress.com
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.
