   Hello everyone,
   My theme has a page to let me post a new post when I'm at the frontend. From that page i can enter the title, content, tags and select category to post the post in from a drop down menu. I would like to know if there is a way to change the category items displayed in that drop down menu, manually.

   Depends on how the page is constructed.

   Can you post an example showing the code of the page?

   Could possibly use wp_list_categories() and the_category_ID().
