Customize Multisite Admin? (2 posts)

I am new to multisite, and trying to achieve the following. I would like for admins of new blogs/sites to only have access to those menu areas I determine. For instance, I'd like to set default widgets, and not give them access to the widgets panel, if possible. Id also like to be able to customize the admin site for these users. Exactly like what White Label CMS does for regular installations. Is there a plugin -- free or premium -- that can help me achieve this? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with all the bells and whistles of White Label CMS, but you'll be able to hide any of the core menus, including the widgets menu, in every blog from every user with this "mu-plugin": http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/menus/

Also, if you are interested in hiding any of the editing meta boxes and dashboard boxes, try this "mu-plugin":
