• Hi,

After upgrading to 3.0, I don’t know where to customize the date format for list widget view ONLY. In the php, it just has <?php echo tribe_events_event_schedule_details(); ?> which is linked to my general settings.

In the Events Calendar, I wanted the full date, “July 13, 2013 @ 9:00am”, but it’s too long for the events widget. For the widget, I just want “Jul 13”

Where/what code do I need to do in the list-widget.php file?

  • Hi ahsieh01,

As mentioned in our sticky thread (http://m.tri.be/10), we unfortunately are unable to help with with customization, styling or integration issues not caused by bugs with The Events Calendar. You have a few options:

    1. Check out our extensive support resources and try to figure it out on your own: http://m.tri.be/z & http://m.tri.be/5b
    2. Hire a developer to assist you. We’ve got a list of freelancers who know our code and who we can vouch for. Email us (pro at tri.be) and we’ll pass that list your way.
    3. Purchase a Pro license to get more support: http://m.tri.be/11. As mentioned in the sticky thread, we can provide both a deeper and more frequent level of support for PRO users.

I hope that helps and good luck!

    Cheers,

    Hi Jonah,

I guess rather than expecting you guys to give a complete answer, I was looking for a pointed direction. Or other users to stumble upon here and give an answer since there was a thread for changing date format for v2.

Anyway, I just noticed that the pro forums have a thread going on about this, so for anyone who stumbles upon this thread, check out http://tri.be/support/forums/topic/changing-date-format-in-v3/#post-56037

    Thanks though!
