Customization of the Home Page

    Hi!

    I’d like to add my latest articles in the HOME page.

    The first issue is that it displays a very long EXTRACT… I’d like to have an extract of 2 lines max.

    The second thing I’d like it is to have a layout with 2 columns for the CONTENT area of the Home page.

    Well, to have something similar of what we can do with Joomla.

    that would be the default behaviour – have you changed anything?

    have an extract of 2 lines max.

    consider using the_excerpt() – how to adjust the length is described in this link http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_excerpt

    to have a layout with 2 columns

    start by using the forum search – that is a common question and has been answered a few times.
