Customise Taxonomy

Hi

I just bought the theme couponpress, it’s good but there is one thing that I would like to change about it. the sites article have url’s like this;

http://www.example.com/articles/post-title

The coupons are structure like this

http://www.example.com/post-title

I would like to change my article taxonomy to anything other than “articles” like /p/ for example to signify post or page.

Can anyone please tell me the easiest way to do this? are there any plugins that make the job easier, thanks for your help.
