I've recently qualified as a traditional web designer (XHTML, CSS, DIV's etc) but now I'm in the market for freelance work I'm finding more and more people are looking for CMS sites.
I've been blogging on WP for years so it was an obvious choice to develop my CMS skills (Did look at Joomla but it's completely counter intuitive)
Given that my .php coding ability is zero - is there a good theme to start with that will allow me to build a simple custom site without having to start messing with someone else's .php code?
I have looked at the free theme gallery which are all fine for blogging but nothing stands out as a good CMS starter site.
Thoughts appreciated.
