I really want to get into designing custom themes for my clients. I pretty comfortable with CSS, PHP and HTML. I am just have trouble nailing down the correct process of making it work with WordPress.
I am wondering:
1. Can someone recommend a good tutorial?
2. Would some be willing to walk me through their process/give me a template that I can recreate (basic layout, with a dropdown etc, that I can tweak, just to get me started)? This option would be paid for obviously.
Thanks!!

Thanks! I have read that before but will definitely be studying it more in depth. I just learn best from tutorials- hence the request. Lynda.com has a video session on WordPress Theme creation so I may hunker down with that four hour video session soon.

If it's not too late for you I really REALLY suggest ThemeFrame. It costs 60$ (for ever not per year) but it's really worth it.
I've been using it for a few months by now and I couldn't be happier with it.
Me too, I wanted to make my own designs and this tool allows that in a very simple, smart and flexible way. Awsome !
(I swear I'm not part of the ThemeFrame team and I won't get any money from writing this haha !)
