Hi, i've did a custom theme and i put the infos over the style.css file like described on the codex page here:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development#Theme_Stylesheet

But what i get, when i go into the backend Appareance -> Themes panel, is:

    'mytheme name' by Anonymous

    Options: Widgets | Menus

All the other infos arent' show.

    Someone knows why this happens?

    Thank you!

Impossible to say without seeing the stylesheet. Drop a copy of the file into the WordPress pastebin and post the pastebin url here. Perhaps someone will be able to spot the problem and suggest a solution.

There's nothing wrong with the comment block at the top. It works just fine for me.

That's really strange, i did the same with other templates and i had always the infos showed.

Could be something related to installed plugins?

Possibly. Or it could be the file format you are using when saving the file.

Do you mean utf-8...utf-16...and other encodings?

Yes. You need to save it in in Unix format ANSI encoded.

    Solved!
I was saving the files as UTF-16, i've converted the file to UTF-8 and got the infos showed.

    Thank you esmi!
