   I bought a theme called Paradise (http://themeforest.net/item/paradise-premium-wp-theme/155505) which has a "portfolio" section. I've created some portfolio entries and can't figure out how to display them alphabetically rather than the default setting, which seems to be by creation date. There is an attribute called "order" available when I edit the individual portfolio entries, but it doesn't make any difference.

   Do I have to modify any code, or is there some simpler way to query WordPress alphabetically or by some other sorting method?

   As this theme is a commercial theme, I would go and ask them directly. It will be faster since they are familiar with their themes.

   Thanks for your response. I'll try that. I thought that this might be a general WordPress issue rather than something specific to the code in the theme, but I'm sure the developer will have something to offer as a solution.
