    Hi Jonathan,

    You can use the link_title shortcode attribute, like this:

    [email-obfuscate email="somebody@somebody.com" link_title="Click here to email me!"]

    You can find a list of all available options a bit down on the main plugin page:

    Awesome! Thanks for the quick response. I started to try that but assumed it was for the tag title attribute (that you see for the hover tooltip).

    Hi Jonathan,

    I agree it’s not a great name. The plugin does currently not support the title attribute. In your opinion, is it something that is often used?

    I will mark this thread as resolved. 🙂

    I think link titles (for the tooltips) are generally a good practice as they help with SEO and are good for usability reasons. In this particular case it’s not a big deal not having it though.

    Hi Jonathan,

    It makes sense to add the a tag title attribute. I have added it in the latest version of the plugin. (1.3.2).

    It’s usable through the:

    tag_title="Your title!"

    …shortcode attribute.

    Thanks for your bug report and suggestion!
