Custom taxonomy not being translated (get_the_term_list) in AJAX calls.

There is a problem in some plugins that use the get_the_term_list function to get a list of custom translated taxonomy terms e.g. categories in AJAX calls. The terms are not being translated – mQtranslate picks the default language. Meanwhile anything else works fine – the gettext picks the right translations as long as the appropriate language code is being passed in the GET request URL.
