i want to set up a custom startpage for my wordpress 2.7 blog.
it should
-contain the last post in category "cat1"
-no "older article" link
-then under the article a box with 3 collumns (and a half transparent white background +rounded corners
--the whole box and its content should be editable with wordpress (maybe a page template or so)
--1st box: 3 big links
--second box: big image with text on it (whole box=link)
--third box: table of new stuff on page (not autogenerated) s
but an image says more than 1000words, so here`s an image
any idea how to set this up?
