    Hello,

I am using a child theme based of Twenty Twelve in WP 3.7.1.

I installed the CS plugin and created several sidebars that were definitely set to replace the Main Sidebar Widget. However, on my Pages (which all use the Default Template) the sidebar that showed to be replaced was the First Front Page Widget area. Within that area, the correct sidebars on offer as possibilities were the ones i had set to replace the Main Sidebar Widget. Isn’t this odd behavior? Why was my Default Template showing the First Front Page Widget as replaceable? (And not event showing the Main Sidebar Widget)?

This was bothering me so much that i deleted all my custom sidebars and also deactivated and deleted the plugin.

I then re-installed it, and now I don’t even see any sidebar options in my Default Template on my pages (i.e. I created a couple of Custom Sidebars but there’s nowhere to put them in my Pages).

I use this plugin on other sites i’ve created and it works wonderfully and as expected. Is there a glitch here or am i missing something obvious?? So frustrating.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

    UPDATE:

OK, duh i figured out what i was doing wrong. I was forgetting to SAVE the selected sidebar in the ‘Select the sidebar available for substitution’ in the CS configure screen—thinking that the selection was connected to the SAVE button under the New Sidebar creation section.

I still can’t figure out why the First Front Page Widget should ever show as replaceable on my Default Template though on my pages though, even if i select it as replaceable in my CS config screen. Anyone have any ideas or can enlightened my at this point obviously fried brain?

    Thanks in advance..

    Hi @oceanazul,

    Thank you for your question.

I still can’t figure out why the First Front Page Widget should ever show as replaceable on my Default Template though on my pages though, even if i select it as replaceable in my CS config screen.

Can you just explain your question properly in a bit more detail, if you can also provide screenshot or page link on your site so that we can help you to fix it?

    Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Kind Regards,
