Custom Sidebar width distorts mobile view

    I have a custom sidebar width on my homepage but when I view my site on 320×480 there is an extra large bar to the side of the main text. the widgets are at the bottom but I don’t need the extra, unused space at the side. Any ideas how to “lock” the main content window and put the widgets directly underneath on smaller screen sizes? I’m building offline so I can’t provide an address.
