WooCommerce Checkout Manager
[resolved] custom required field not recognizing entry (9 posts)

For some reason, I added a custom field and it looks great but when I submit the order, it gives me the "custom field is a required field".

I have entered text into the field but it still errors out.

    Any idea why?

I tried unchecking it and my email confirming the order shows "Additional information", however, the text I put in the custom field isn't there.

Where can this information be seen from within the Order Backend? I don't see it there either.

    Please advise...

Thank you for reporting this issue, i am currently working on a fix, for a quick work around,
do not leave spaces for the LABEL name alone.
you can use words like "Cool-field" the use of "-" will make it work.

but using "Cool field" as the label will not.

probably "Cool_field" can also work. etc

Actually, never mind my previous post, I found the issue ... I had a space in my abbreviation field. :P
