   My past permalink structure has been:
   /index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

   I want to change to %postname% for SEO purposes,

   would someone who knows apache be so kind as to write me the sequencing for an .htaccess file to Redirect all my hits when I make the switch?

   Heads-up taht WordPress strongly recommends not using simply %postname% - see here for full info.
