    It depends.

    It was not tested with custom post types.

    But, the plugin hooks into the publish_post action. So if the custom post type uses the standard actions it should work just the same.

    If you have a specific example we could test it out.

    We just revisited the support for this. Due to conflicts with other plugins triggering notifications to be sent multiple times, we restricted the Auto Post to “post” types only.

    The option that you would still have is to send the notifications manually from the admin dashboard.
