   I have sharedaddy enabled, self hosted blog, and it works great for all pages (set to posts and pages only). But I also have a custom post type template that for some reason does NOT give the author the option to check the box or uncheck the box. I would like these disabled totally for this type of template post page but can live with individually ticking off the check box.

   But I first need the checkbox. Any ideas?

   The next version of Jetpack, which should be released soon, will have checkboxes in the Settings -> Sharing menu for all registered post types.
