Custom Post Form without manually creating querries? (1 post)

Hi, I've been trying to find anything I can on creating a separate submenu page under the admin 'Write' menu. I'd like to have a customized form with only custom fields and a submit button. I haven't found anything on here or through search engines on how to go about this. The problem I see with it is that technically a post must have some other fields with it to post correctly such as the title and permalink (if set) so this would not make this possible? The only way I can see going about this is to just query the databases directly my self but I was hoping I would not have to go that route.

I've found some plug-ins that add additional boxes/fields to the current post form but I'd like to remove pretty much everything just about on the page. Is this possible or am I stuck hard coding this implementation? Thanks for your time.
