Custom Post by Plugin doesn't show on first Page

    Hi there,

    it’s my first WordPress Blog and I’m a Newbie on this.

    I’ve made a WordPress Blog for a Podcast and everything works fine except the fact that the podcast-plugin “Podlove” can’t show any stuff on the front page.

    I has to be handled as a regular post sorted in the category “shows”. I already tried to create it in the functions.php but everything I can make to work is a completely new custom post and that’s not what I want.

    The theme I use shows the category-picture in a Slideshow (I already checked it twice if there might be no picture on the podcast-post) and I already checked if the theme reads the correct category…it does. It just seems that maybe a simple PHP (i.e. top.php, header.php,…) needs a call to give me the whole category…

    Is there any plugin for this? Or can someone help me out here?

    You should consider updating your theme to version 2.1.

    the podcast-plugin “Podlove” can’t show any stuff on the front page.

    I was able to get Podlove working on my front page, although I don’t have your theme. I don’t see why the front page should be any different to another page in this respect.

    I’ve had a look at the docs and they do not mention any restrictions about which page it can be used on.

    Perhaps you could post the shortcodes you are using to play a video on your front page.
