Custom Meta Boxes (2 posts)

I run a climbing website and would like to add some info at the bottom of each post highlighting who the climber is, what route, area of climbing, etc.

My question is, do I need to add a new custom meta box in the post form of the admin panel for each piece of info I want to add at the bottom of the post? For example: If it were a book site, would I need a meta box for author, a separate box for, genre, separate box for fiction/non-fiction? I followed this tutorial: http://wp.tutsplus.com/tutorials/reusable-custom-meta-boxes-part-3-extra-fields/ and was about to bring up some meta box stuff but not sure if this is really what I need.

I know I can do this through custom fields but I would like to have the meta box option, it just seems easier.

Any help or guidance or ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

I think the Advanced Custom Fields plugin might work for you.
