Hi,
Since i've updated polylang on my website, i've got two problems :
- I used to have a custom menu in the footer section displaying a secondary menu I created (with an english and a french version). It now displays the wrong menu (the primary one) instead of the one I set. It is still translated but it's not the correct menu that I set.
- On my "blog" page where all posts should be displayed, the whole site is displayed instead, with the english and french version following each other on the page.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Sandra

Problem for me with the latest version and latest WP version,on my blog page no posts gets displayed. Theme:twentytwelve
Same problem here!
The blog page displays all pages instead of blog posts in v1.0.
I solved the problem by going back to v0.9.8. until Polylang release a fix.

For the "blog" page problem, could you try this: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/blog-lists-all-posts-doesnt-filter-by-language?replies=2#post-3773039
For the custom menu, could you better explain? What is your theme? How do you setup your menus?

I am experiencing the same problem, the custom menu option doesn't work after updating to the latest version of polylang, instead of custom menu the full menu shows up in the widgets.
I am using Ifeature pro 5 from cyberchimps.
Thanks in advance.

Same for me.
The custom menu widget stop working updating to v. 1.0 of Polylang and 3.5.1 of wordpress. Whatever menu I choose it shows all pages.
I'm using a customized twenty-twelve theme.
The code change mentioned in http://wordpress.org/support/topic/blog-lists-all-posts-doesnt-filter-by-language?replies=2#post-3773039
works for me in solving the blog page problem.
Now included in the development version (1.0.0.1)

@pupunzi
Are you using custom menus or do your menus display the list of pages? (in the second case, could you try if the hotfix above does solve your issue?). Did you customize the menus in the twenty twelve theme?

I'm using custom menus.
I tried the fix above without success.
Yes, I customized the menus in the twentytwelve theme.
Rolling back to v. 0.9.8.1 everything is OK.
I reproduced the bug with the custom menu widget...
Well, one of the request I receive the most often is the menu which does not translate. This problem is frequent (especially with Premium themes) which hardcode the menu name in the wp_nav_menu function. I attempted to improve this and unfortunately it breaks too much things. So I revert to the previous way.
Could you try the new development version (1.0.0.2)?

The custom menu works with new development version (1.0.0.2) but the language switcher shows only the default language.
@thomaswebsolutions
Could you give a link?

link with new development version (1.0.0.2) - language switcher on nav menu and widget only shows the default language.
http://www.hamiltoncarrentalandrepair.ca
It looks like there is no content in Russian (Polylang does not display the language if there is no post or page associated to it).
Check if your Russian posts are associated to Russian and not English.

After upgrade to Polylang 1.0 and WP 3.5.1 custom menu widgets are broken, showing all pages.
Update to 1.0.0.2 fixed the issue.
Will send you updated Russian translation shortly.

new development version (1.0.0.2) works for me, when i deleted polylang and reinstalled with the new version I had not reassigned the russian pages to the english pages and had changed all pages to the default language. Now all looks well.

if i delete my current polylang, and install the new plugin you sent instead to test custom menus, will it keep all my settings (languages, menus, translations of sentences) in the database?
for the second problem (blog page displaying all site pages), it is solved by http://wordpress.org/support/topic/blog-lists-all-posts-doesnt-filter-by-language?replies=2#post-3773039
thanks
You won't have to do this as I will release an update including these 2 bugs corrections very soon.
To answer your question, if you delete the plugin using the red link in the plugins list table, all data will be erased. If you just delete files (without clicking the link), then your data should be kept safe in the database.
However, it is always a good idea to make a database backup before any upgrade.
