   Hi...

   I'd like to show my blog (categories) links only if a person is inside the blog, and not if he's browsing pages and other sections of the website I did with the use of templates.

   How can I change the behaviour of the menu only in certain sections of wordpress?

   Does NAVT (the menu plugin) support that?
   Does something else?

   If you checkout the sidebar.php on the default theme that comes with wordpress, starting on line 15 you can set parameters to work on specific pages. See the following:
