• I hate to ask for support, but I’ve been looking around, and need a way to add custom htaccess line’s to a file without wordpress resetting them back to the “wordpress defaults”.

If there’s no way to do this, does anyone know which wordpress file “resets” the .htaccess rules?

    Thanks.

  • If you have ftp access to your htaccess then you should be able to edit the htacces file – what do you mean WP resets them?

WP adds its own “block” to the .htaccess file. Changes are only applied to that block, the rest of the file remains untouched.

Allright, I’ve been editing them via ftp, within the block, so that must be why.

    Thanks, I got it working.
