Custom header image won't load

    Hi all,
    I am trying to upload a .jpeg image I found on the Internet to my header in my Word Press blog. I am using the Coraline 1.0.2 theme. However, every time I try to upload this image (or any image for that matter) to the header, I get this error message:

    Image could not be processed. Please go back and try again.

    I tried searching the Word Press help site, but honestly, I am a beginner and all of the talk about PHP is way over my head. Could anyone give me a step-by-step guide for how to fix this problem?? Thanks in advance.
