Custom fonts + background of category boxes and widget title's in 'Clear' theme (5 posts)

Hey! I'm having a lot of trouble with a couple of things in the Clear theme...

Changing category fonts - It gives me the option of some as a drop down in the theme settings but I don't understand how to customise that as it hasn't worked using FTP and editing the CSS. Any ideas?

Background colour of title's - I want the category box title's and the widget title's to have black background's with yellow writing but I can't find how to change this in the stylesheet. Help please! (Also want to change the font of these but am currently unable to)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Many thanks :)

No, sorry, I didn't realise there was another one. This is the one I'm using:

I can make my site live for you to view if that will help :)

I don't know how that theme is set up so for theme-specific questions, you'll need to ask the developers of the theme. These forums only provide theme-specific help for themes from this site.

In general, the best way to work with CSS is by using a browser tool like Firebug - to identify the CSS you need to change for any element on a page - then COPY that CSS to a child theme or custom CSS option or plugin - and make the changes there. It's inadvisable to modify theme files - as those changes will lost when the theme is updated.

    Ok I'll do that, cheers.

I edit CSS in the child theme already, but I'll try using a browser tool...have you got a recommendation for one using Google Chrome or Safari? And thanks, I'll check those out for some more help too!
