Hello - I am using twentyeleven child theme. trying to use a custom font on my site. I downloaded the ttf file but it looks like that is just the tip of the iceberg. I am trying to find out the most recent and best way to have a font like this work on my website. I found some css code "font family" but that supposedly does not work on IE. I found a 2 year old plugin called "anyfont" which can do it to some extent and then if you sign up at some place (i think it was called "fontserv"?) then the font will work with IE as well. I am just wondering what strides have been made in this area since 2010. Is there a better way to do this or is the best way one of the ways I have described. Please let me know. Thanks, Gerard

Try this CSS generator for custom fonts
    http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator/

Instructions are found on the page.
It generated the CSS @font-face, used for embedding fonts into the web page.
