   I'm trying to add a custom field to some pages and it just won't stick.

   I've already got one set up - Sidebar - and it works fine. It shows up in the Name drop-down and everything, and if I put content in it displays on my pages.

   Now I am trying to add another custom field - Description - but when I click Enter New, type in Description, add my content, click the Add Custom Field button then update the page it disappears as if I never entered it.

   It's causing a huge headache and mass confusion. Any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated. If you need any other info, feel free to ask...

   Have you installed/upgraded any plugins since you created the Sidebar custom field?

   Nope. But I did end up just adding the custom field and not updating the page and it stuck. It seems a bit goofy that updating the page would drop the new custom field, but hey, it works! Thanks for taking the time to look at my post =]
