I cannot write a post because the custom field on the write post page is caught in some strange perpetual loop adding field after field that contains blog_author and then my name. It runs and runs forever or until I shut it down. But I cannot write posts at all.
Any ideas?
Disable all plugins and see if the problem goes away. If not, you may have something odd going on in your database.

That didn't work but if I let it run for a while I get this stop script error.
