I am working though the tutorial Creating and Editing Custom Themes from lynda.com. It is from 2010 so that could be part of the problem but not sure. The issue is trying to display an image dynamically using custom fields on a custom page template. I added the image path the same as it is in the tutorial /product-images/prod-sprocketizer-large.pngand I just get a broken link image on the page. When I look at it in fire bug it says (Faild to load given url) If I use the full path (http://127.0.0.1:4001/wordpress/product-images/prod-sprocketizer-large.png) it works. No matter how I put in the url other then using the full path it will not work.

In general, WordPress uses full file paths.

But on my custom home page I am using the file path src="product-images/prod-supersprocket.png" pulling the same folder and it works fine although in the tutorial he uses the file path src="/product-images/prod-supersprocket.png" I had to remove the first / to get that one to work, but doing that will not get it to work on the custom products page.
