   hi, I made a wordpress site, and for 1 category I added a custom field into post.
   when making an author profile for the user, I noticed that with this role he cannot insert any cutom field. is there a way I can make custom field editable by the "author" user?

   If the Custom Fields area is not visible when logged in as the author, click 'Screen Options' at the top right of the page and be sure the 'Custom Fields' checkbox is checked.
