    I read that if you change the themes code and then upgrade wordpress or the theme your changes are removed, can someone please explain an easy way to avoid this. I have tried wordpress jetpack Custom CSS editor, but it slows my website down and the Custom CSS editor keeps coming up with an error message. Thanks.
