   I'm having a bit of bother with the way WordPress is cropping my thumbnails, I have the dimensions set to crop to 162x176 which is working perfectly, however each time it crops it seems to crop in the middle of the image which means that I loose the top of my image.

   As each of my image thumbnails are people, this is not ideal as it cuts off their head?

   Is there a way I can decide where I want WordPress to crop the image to create the thumbnail?

   Any help much appreciated.

   This is a good question. However, I can't even get mine to crop! I am using the phT theme with the YAPB plugin and can't determine where the coding would be for this setup to enable thumbnail cropping. I switched the media.php scripting to have crop=true enabled and it didn't do anything.
