Custom Community- Where is the CSS? (8 posts)

    Hello,

Where is the CSS for this theme? Styles is pretty empty. When I add things inline or even in their box to "put my custom CSS" they get overriden half the time and do not show up. I looked in for example the single page PHP file and do not see things there.

For example, if I want to change things with the content box or the padder boxes?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Amanda

the css is stored in the database.
to add custom css to the theme. go under theme settings and click the css tab.
from here you can add your custom css and keep it stored in the database. this will keep upgrades from overwriting your custom settings.

Thanks for the reply. I will try again in a bit, in the past it seemed to ignore some of the code I put in. I am no expert but I can see the changes when I inspect the code in chrome but they are marked off to no apply. Does the database add any of the css inline?

If nothing else it would be great to at least have a document that mentioned what the css was- what the classes and ID were and what the current settings are for them. I know that is asking a lot, but paid a ton for the theme already.

    Have a look at /core/includes/theme-generator/style.php ;)

editing the style.php will break when you update the theme.
always best to put your custom css in the css tab, or in a child theme style.css

    Thank you chaoti.

Full Circle, it is nice to see the code to help me understand what to change.

It is frustrating that all premium theme users can not post of the custom community forum.
