custom community theme

    after wordpress upgrade 3.5 the slideshow does not slide and does not find pics. anyone knows how to fix ? is there a way to unupgrade ? i think thats the problem

    You can revert by reinstalling the backup you made before you updated…
    If you didn’t make a backup.
    I’d move forward.
    This is a Jquery conflict issue more than likely.

    3.5 seems to have exposed a lot of people that were hacking their javascript into WordPress. Is your slider powered by a plugin or a theme? Maybe they released an update.

    thanks for the reply .its in the custom community theme. im waiting for the update.its not coming. is there something to do ? i did not back up. what is the recommended way to back up ?

    I like BackWPUp because you can connect it to a dropbox account, which is super cheap.

    Take a look at the free themes available at wordpress.org/extend/themes, all of which have had probably had a more rigorous review than most commercial .themes
