    Hello,

I’ve written some reports using this tool, which works fantastic.

Now, I want these reports to be visible for the ‘editor’ (users with editor role), without making front-end pages for it (so, visible in the wordpress backend). Only the reports, not the plugin setup, neither the possibility to create/edit the reports.

Normally I try to use plugins “User role Editor” in combination with “Aminimize” to achieve this. But to be able to do this, I need custom capabilities for the plugin.

I don’t think currently there are custom capabilities for this plugin (like view Reports, edit Reports and create Reports for example).

Wouldn’t that be a nice feature to the plugin?

    Best regards
    Maarten

Would this be something that could be solved by adding the ability to place a report on the dashboard?

Yes, I think that is correct. If we could place the report titles on the dashboard, so that the editor can run them on request. The editor (in my case) must not have the ability to create, delete or edit the reports (only view).

Ok, I just release a plugin update that includes the ability to place a report on the dashboard for users with a given Role (but only Administrators can edit the report).

Please download the new version 3.06.29 and let me know how it works for you.

    Aloha, Eli

P.S. Don’t forget to click on that button in the Plugin Links section on the right-hand side of the Plugin Settings page in your WP Admin 😉
