    When pasting custom code into the plugin options, it saves incorrectly.

    I'm trying to enable the floating menu bar (which the Addthis site claims works) since there is no easy way to enable this style via the plugin.

    So I am pasting this into the custom code textarea:

    <!-- AddThis Button BEGIN -->
    <div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_floating_style addthis_32x32_style" style="left:50px;top:50px;">

    And the resulting code is always:

    <!-- style="left:50px;top:50px;"  AddThis Button BEGIN -->
    <div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_floating_style addthis_32x32_style">

    I'm not sure if it is just an overaggressive validation filter, but I can't even test if the floating toolbar will work until the settings save properly.

    Yes you are right. The styling part is being stripped of by our validation filter. You can add the styling to your css file and it will do the same.

    . addthis_floating_style {
           left:50px;top:50px;
    }

    Thank you! That works. Though I am still disappointed by AddThis' floating style.... it is just fixed positioning whereas I was hoping it would be something more like:

    There is an even better style coming up pretty soon! We will update here in this ticket when it's live. It is not yet passed our QA, but if you prefer you can try it out from our Development branch: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/addthis.zip

    *Please note that this is not production ready and might have issues.

    Neat. Probably will be too late to help me on this particular project, but good to know AddThis is working on some improvements. Thanks again.
