• The custom background I had on my site has disappeared from being able to be viewed. When I go into the background option you can see the background paper there and when I set it up it displays. Once you refresh to be able to view it, it is gone. I have gone through everything step by step with no success. Can somebody please tell me what I need to do to fix this problem? Thanks

  • What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

Using twenty twelve. It has been my background for 2 years and now it won’t work even though it is there. It won’t save.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – re-uploading a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Twelve folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
