I have seen Currenlty Reading and Now Listening displaying images if book cover and song album cover linking to amazon.com in the side panel in many sites.
Is this done wich this plugin: CG-PowerPack 1.5.3.1 (http://www.chait.net/index.php?p=238) ??

For now I am thinking to display only the Currently Reading book Cover and link it to amazon.com

Some knows how this is done the easiest way?

    You want Amazon Media Manager...

Yes, CG-Amazon is great for doing all these sorts of things, and you've probably seen it in use on a number of sites you browsed. ;)

Very easy to select to display images only, and then just have one book in 'your database' that you tag as 'currently reading', and that's all that will show up. Sounds like you started to play with AMM, but feel free to ping me if you'd like help with CG-Amazon.

I've read the instructions for AMM and may play with it later as I'm a big fan of Reading... and Listening to... lists, which I now have on my site using CG-Amazon.

What appeals to me about this is that I don't have to go sloughing through code, I just create a page, put the code on it (using QuickPHP, as you can't run raw PHP on the WP Pages themselves unless you make them page templates) and configure the line of code to output my category (in my case, "smooth-jazz" or "reading"). However, if you plan on not outputting just one or two categories of items, then AMM may offer more flexibility. I have found, through the years, however, that Chaitgear does exactly what I need it do do, but then again, as I said, I have a need of only a handful of these kind of media lists.

And it should go without saying (but I'll say it anyway) that my comment favoring Chaitgear is in no way an indictment of or detraction toward AMM. In fact, I have it downloaded and plan to play around with it a bit during the coming weeks to see what it does. (I find I spend more time fiddling with my blog than actually posting anything to it, but hey, it's fun so that's all that matters!)

I created a "Last 20 Tracks and Currently Playing" just to mess around since I already have "Currently Playing" and a link to the "Last 20 Tracks" in my sidebar.

As soon as David adds the stripslashes() back in the display function, it'll be all hunky dory. I'm sure he will do that with the next release of CG-Powerpack he promised today (not so subtle hint and nudge ;-).
