I've read the instructions for AMM and may play with it later as I'm a big fan of Reading... and Listening to... lists, which I now have on my site using CG-Amazon.
What appeals to me about this is that I don't have to go sloughing through code, I just create a page, put the code on it (using QuickPHP, as you can't run raw PHP on the WP Pages themselves unless you make them page templates) and configure the line of code to output my category (in my case, "smooth-jazz" or "reading"). However, if you plan on not outputting just one or two categories of items, then AMM may offer more flexibility. I have found, through the years, however, that Chaitgear does exactly what I need it do do, but then again, as I said, I have a need of only a handful of these kind of media lists.
And it should go without saying (but I'll say it anyway) that my comment favoring Chaitgear is in no way an indictment of or detraction toward AMM. In fact, I have it downloaded and plan to play around with it a bit during the coming weeks to see what it does. (I find I spend more time fiddling with my blog than actually posting anything to it, but hey, it's fun so that's all that matters!)
