Current page (nested)

Hello,

I have searched around a little before i actually posted this thread, though i haven’t found a good solution on my problem so i try here.

What i have is a horizontal sliding jquerry menu.

The html code looks like this:

And I’m only listing subpages here. every sub page has a parent though the parent is totally empty so the viewer won’t be able to access them.

What i wan’t to do is change background on the li (parrent) that is over my sub page. so for example the “client” is on a sub page to web/profil I wan’t Web/profil to have a dark background instead of a light one.

Simply: li.current_page_intem in wp,

though it dons’t seam to work the way i want to.

Any ideas ?
