that’s because this only refers to the currency symbol for a menu item in the main listing
mind you , i agree with you that, regarding the cart at least , it’s inconsistent in so far as the top bit has the currency symbol on the right wheras (sub)totals have it on the left.
i guess I’ll make this the same/consistent in the next version

Moreover, the currency symbol (in spite of settings) is on the left in an email you receive after placing an order, not only in (sub)totals.

I see that. Just wanted to point out all places where currency symbols are ‘inconsistent’ – the cart (total), order page (page where customers provides details of delivery) and an email.
that’s not inconsistency though.
they are just all on the left…(with the exception of the top bit in the cart of course, as mentioned)

I may have miss understood you, sorry.
Anyway, I’m waiting for an update which will allow to edit mentioned currency symbols. For now it’s the only thing which looks a bit ‘unpolished’.

should be in the next update or the one after (there’ll be a checkbox in layout to set currency symbols to the right)
planning on doing some other things at the same time so may be a few days yet though
