[resolved] CSS Validation with Responsive theme (4 posts)

Should I be concerned that my site using responsive theme doesn't validate on CSS?

I noticed that even the responsive demo site has 111 CSS 3.0 validation errors.

I am not an expert on CSS and therefore don't know which of these "errors" I need to fix and which I can safely ignore.

    Hi Mike,

You can ignore all of them. W3C Markup Validation is a pass and even that is still in "Experimental feature: HTML5 Conformance Checker"

W3C is not completely standardized yet. Validation is just a guide, nothing more :)

For example here's validation for Mozilla.org.

    Thanks,
    Emil
