I should learn how to read all those table attributes one of these day, it looks so fricking complicated. Sorry, can’t help you this time.
Well, crap.
Any other ideas?
(Thanks for trying, aplhaoide. 🙂
Let’s make a deal. I’ll help you redo the website with CSS only and in return you have to convince 5 webmasters who use unnecessary tables to switch to CSS.
How bout that?
Hmmm….I must admit that deal is rather enticing, as I’ve been wanting to learn CSS.
The main issue I have with that though, is I have almost NO time whatsoever right now to try and pick it up.
Also, I seem to have it pretty much fixed in everything but IE (as far as I can tell) and the only problem I have in IE is the top width (and the lack of backgrounds).
Currently I have these background attributes implimented by using <td class="">
what would you suggest using to get them to show in IE? <span class="">
or something completely different?
So, it turns out this is really frustrating.
I might be up for that CSS thing, if I can’t figure out IE. It’s the only browser that’s giving me trouble, and I’ve recoded my whole site twice.
What’s even more odd…The backgrounds only don’t work in IE:mac they’re fine on PC…but, both OSs have problems with the spacing.
You’re a genius! 🙂 (That fixed the background)
Does anyone have any idea why the top cells spacing is so odd? (It might be an HTML problem as opposed to CSS, but I doubt it since it only doesnt work on IE)

Yeah, could be the html as I don’t see significant css. My offer still stands, but will be busy for the next week and a half.
oopps, the post above is mine
Well..I got it. A table inside of a table inside of a table.
I know you’re thrilled to hear that, alphaoide. 🙂
I’m still totally up for learning CSS though, and I can see how it’s better after this mess.
Maybe this winter.
Thanks for all your help.
